Maulana Abdul Qadir Loni, Provincial Emir of JUI Ideological Group, accompanied by his delegation met  with Hassan Darwishvand, Consul General of Iran in Quetta at his office. The two sides discussed Pak-Iran relations, border and the promotion of trade and cultural cooperation between the two countries. They reiterated their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations. "The aspirations and the Afghan people are important to Iran and we have always emphasized peace, stability, security and prosperity in Afghanistan," said Iranian Consul General Hassan Darwishvand. "In the current Afghan situation, we expect that the rights of all nations will be protected there and given the opportunity to play a role in the new consensus government," he added. The provincial leaders of the JUI ideological group also highlighted the latest situation in Afghanistan.
